Course Showcase & Community
Context
While most of the content from this project was built to drive bookings, The Course Showcase & Community pillars serve to build brand identity. Showing the course at its best and keeping followers engaged between promotional posts. This keeps the social media content well-rounded with content people actually want to see, not just content that asks them to do something.
The Course Showcase pillar is built almost entirely out of my own original photography taken during my shifts over the years. Every photo in this section was taken on my iPhone with no professional equipment or staged sessions. The goal was to demonstrate that intriguing course content doesn’t require a photography budget.
The Community pillar documents the atmosphere and personality of the course. The on-site pub, the wildlife, and neighborhood feel that sets this course apart.

Course Showcase Post
This course showcase Instagram post was built primarily to drive engagement by showing a nice sunset over the 1st fairway. It also incites customers to visit and see one for themselves.
Community
The Community Pillar is designed to show the personality and atmosphere of the course beyond the course itself. For this course specifically, the on-site pub is a natural anchor for this pillar given its physical connection to the clubhouse and its role in the post-round experience.
Note: Photo selection for this section was intentionally limited. As a staff member, photographing customers and guests inside the pub without their knowledge raises some privacy concerns. The majority of photos for this pillar are not included on this site. The photo used here was the best available option that didn’t compromise anyones privacy.
Because the course and pub are separate business entities, the caption for this post exists in two versions: one that names the pub directly, and one that references it generically. The named version maintains clarity about the separation of two distinct businesses. The unnamed version reduces the risk of the post being read as advertising for a third-party operation rather than the course itself. Both considerations are legitimate, and the final call would lie with course management. The unnamed version is shown here.
